Sesión #22 - 8 de octubre / Session #22 - october 8

Esta fue una sesión fuera del taller. En la mañana estuve en el taller de Lucho Tangarife, Castillo del Gato, conociendo los procesos que lleva a cabo frente a los materiales para la construcción de títeres. Fue uno de éstos procesos (que lo convierte en una especie de científico loco y genio titiritero; constructor de lo que se le ofrezca a usted...siga que se le tiene), el que me trajo a visitarlo. / This was a session outside the workshop. In the morning I went to the workshop of Lucho Tangarife, director and puppeteer of Castillo del Gato (a puppet group), where he showed me the processes he is doing building materials for puppets. It was one of these processes (which makes it a sort of mad scientist and genius puppeteer builder of materials), which brought me to visit him.

Ha construido ojos para títeres. Y para el ser Místico funcionan a la perfección. Estos son los ojos que he escogido para las dos cabezas del ser Místico.
He has built puppet eyes. And for the mystical being these eyes work perfectly. These are the eyes that I have chosen for the two heads of the Mystical being.

Ese día también visité y conocí el taller de las Marionetas de Néstor Mahecha quien me ofreció muy generosamente un telón que tiene para sus espectáculos en espacios no convencionales. Nosotros necesitamos un telón blanco como pantalla de proyección. Esta pantalla debe funcionar como el fondo blanco del Teatro el Parque que tiene un tamaño de 5 metros de alto por 8 metros de ancho.

Creo que la mejor opción va a ser comprar la tela y hacerlo para tener telón a donde vayamos a presentar la obra después del estreno.

That day I also visited and met the Marionettes workshop of Nestor Mahecha  who very generously offered me a curtain he has for his shows in unconventional spaces. We need a big white backdrop and projection screen. This screen should work as the white background of the Theatre which has a size of 5 meters high and 8 meters wide.

I think the best option will be to buy the fabric and make it. If we do so we will have the backdrop and projection screen where ever we present the work after the premiere.
